What will your reaction be when i will tell you that you can achieve whatever you want in your life just by thinking about it? You may be astonished right ? Or you might find me idiotic like one of those flat earth believers. But you are completely wrong. Affirmations do actually work and it is supported by science also.let me explain you how.

First of all before understanding the effects of affirmations. One should have a clear and specific definition of it. So basically affirmation is the act of supporting or believe anything to a maximum extent. For eg Most of the people in this world believe in God and affirms that god will always protect as we are honest this is an form of affirmation. Placebo effect where patients recover itself without using any artificial medicine Just by believing on the fact that treatment given by the doctor will cure him.like these i can give thousands of examples of affirmations. One thing which is evident in all these examples is that affirmations are linked to miracles believing in a thing even if it exists or not do miracles. Just like people who has a strong belief in God sometime claims to see them. Patient who  belives that the medicine will cure him works for him even though it was fake. And my friends this is the power of affirmations even you also must had experience this miraculous power of affirmations in your daily life. But never noticed it. But some of you science geeks will not agree to me now also after explaining so much about affirmations and to what extent it works. So specially for you guys here is some science behind the affirmations.

The roots of the reason why affirmations work are embedded in phycological science. So first of all i will not complicate things for you by using humongous scientific terms and  the explanation will be quite basic. So if you think that my explanation doesn't make any sense to you then it's not my fault (probably you might be too nerdy) and you want more solid proofs backed with complicated scientific explanation then refer to the original post from which i derived this information whose link will be at the end of the blog. My job here is to just make things more simpler so you can grasp the concepts more easily and apply it in your daily life to achieve whatever you want in your life.

So our Brain basically like to connect a particular emotion to a certain event. This process is called the neural link. This also takes the form of superstition. This same concept of neural link also works when We are doing pleasurable things such as eating sweets .So let me explain this in brief. Whenever we do any activity which provides us pleasure it triggers dopamine in your brain. Dopamine is a chemical which gives a high to our body and hence generating the feeling of pleasure.Now our brain links that particular activity with gives pleasure to the high. Therefore we tend to like this activity more than daily chores. This is also the primary reason why some people develop addictions towards things like drugs,ciggarates , alcohol etc.
Now if we make positive affirmations and by chance positive things happens to us then our brain tends to connect these two things. Hence increasing the probability of achieving that. Sounds crazy right? But this thing is theorized by some of the most renowned phycologists of the world. One more crazy theory behind the working of positive affirmations is that when we think about something in our brain it attracts that event to happen in future and it makes us achieve that by our hardwork and dedication which are generated when we are passionate about something
Hence positive affirmations surges the feeling of tremendous motivation and passion within us which makes us do things which are beyond our mere capabilities. 

Now here comes the main question which would have being strikimg on your mind since the very beginning of this article and that question is how to use this affirmations? So guys personally speaking when i first heard about this concept  i was flabbergasted. I badly wanted to use it i tried my best but i wasn't successful in achieving my desire for which i used affirmations.After that i realised the fact that there is a flaw my technique and hence i digged myself deep into such topics. After much research   i spotted my mistakes and hence was able to accomplish my goal. And i am going  to share these principles with all you guys about how to use affirmations and below are the key points.   
  1. Affirmation involves the process of repeating a positive phrase for several times in a loop in your head. But one thing people don't while they are doing these excercise is that they don't envision things of what they want to achieve. Envisioning things will increase your probably to achieve your goals upto 25 percent according to my personal experience.
  2. The most important thing one should remember while using this technique is to not immerse yourself completely into this.Dont just believe that you can achieve anything by just imagining it you will have to consistently work hard for it. Afterall this technique is used to stimulate the feeling to do things which are beyond your comfort zone so that you can achieve your goals.
  3. Do meditate regularly to stimulate your body and mind. By doing this you will make your brain more sharp and intuitive which will indeed help you to accomplish your goals through these technique.
  4. Another form of affirmations is writing that statement on paper .I tried this method and it works absolutely great.
